Sand
AfroPacific supplies building sand and delivers it by the load across Harare and the surrounding towns.

Made here.
Sand is where a lot of money quietly leaks out of a build. Loads are sold by volume but arrive with varying amounts of silt and clay in them, and a dirty sand weakens every mix it goes into — mortar, plaster and concrete alike — no matter how much cement is added to compensate. It is worth insisting on knowing what you are getting rather than buying the cheapest load on offer.
AfroPacific has been building in Zimbabwe since 2010, so the yard is run by people who use the same materials on their own sites. If a specification is wrong for the job, you will be told before the order goes out rather than after it arrives.
Delivered from Ruwa.
We deliver sand across the following areas, scheduled around your build programme. Collection from the yard at 6626 Zimre Way, Zimre Park, Ruwa is also welcome.
- Harare
- Ruwa
- Chitungwiza
- Marondera
- Mutare
Before you order.
- How is sand sold?
- By the load, delivered to site. Tell us the job and we will advise on the volume rather than leaving you to convert from cubic metres yourself.
- Which sand do I need?
- It depends on the work — plaster, mortar and concrete each want something different. Tell us what you are doing and we will match it.
We can fit it, too.
These are trades AfroPacific runs itself, so the material and the labour can be quoted as one job with one party accountable.
