A 1990s house needs a new kitchen, two reworked bathrooms, a replacement roof covering and an external repaint. The owners are living in it throughout and cannot lose both bathrooms at once.
The work is broken into three phases, each leaving the house habitable at the end of the working day.
Bathrooms are done one at a time. The kitchen phase includes a temporary sink and power point so the house keeps functioning.
The roof covering is scheduled for the dry season and the external repaint follows it, so scaffolding is erected once.
Phase one: roof covering replacement and associated rainwater goods.
Phase two: bathrooms, sequentially, with services renewed back to the main.
Phase three: kitchen strip-out and rebuild, then external repaint.
